About Me
My names Cameron Volkman and I grew up in Southern Oregon with a passion for photography, hunting, fishing, and firearms and not in that particular order
Photography
My passion for photography started when I realized I could capture a fleeting moment forever in the form of a photograph. From then on I've been trying to capture every moment I know I'll want to think back on fondly when I get old and grey.
Hunting
Growing up hunting was something we did almost every fall. It started around the age of five when my dad and grandpa would drag me out of bed to ride in my grandpa's single cab Chevy to drive around logging roads and hike around the hills in Southern Oregon. I didn't get my First deer until the age of 22 out hunting by myself in the Applegate valley.
Fishing
Fishing started around the same time as hunting catching trout off the docks at lost creek lake. It's since expanded to oceans, ponds, rivers and creeks all over North America.
Firearms
I started shooting at the age of 5 with my grandfathers. I got my first firearm at the age of 10 a Savage .17HMR from my Grandpa and from then of I've been hooked. I've worked in the firearms industry or adjacent since 2016.
